What does each reaction make?
Tap a card, then tap its group.
The nucleophile replaces the leaving group: look at the atom it bonds with.

Assumptions

•
The nucleophile adds to the C=O carbon and the leaving group goes, so the nucleophile takes its place.
•
An alcohol gives an ester, ammonia or an amine an amide, water an acid, and a carboxylate an anhydride.
•
A second equivalent of amine, or pyridine, takes up the HCl a chloride gives off.
•
Esters and amides need acid or base and heat; base gives the carboxylate, and H₃O⁺ then gives the acid.
