Linear, quadratic or exponential?
Use this for “Which kind of function fits this table: linear, quadratic or exponential?”
Sort
Which kind of function is it?
Tap a card, then tap its group.
Assumptions
•
Use x-values that go up by the same step, then look at how y changes.
•
Equal first differences: linear. Equal second differences: quadratic. Equal ratios: exponential.
•
An exponential one always overtakes a linear or quadratic one in the end.
