Children’s privacy
How the website protects children, for parents and guardians.
Effective [Effective date]. SME has lessons from Kindergarten up, so many people who use it are children. We built it to collect no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, consistent with the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
What this means
•
No accounts, sign-ups, names, email addresses, photos or messages are asked for or collected from children.
•
No advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party code that collects data.
•
Lessons, answers, scores and progress stay in the browser on the child’s device. We never receive them.
•
Plans are bought only by an adult with a card, on Stripe’s payment page. The website shows a note for the parent or guardian before payment.
For parents and guardians
